Is there anyway I can destroy all the data on my old PC prior to selling it, but retain windows 10

Originally it had windows 7 but had a free online upgrade to Windows 10 (before they stopped upgrading free), so I don't have any type of device to reinstall the OS.

I know about dban but that will wipe everything

It's just sitting there cluttering up my office.

There are tools that will securely wipe files from your PC. However, you will need to decide which files to wipe and it may take some time. Take a look here for a list of tools.

Download your key info using ShowKeyPlus

www.groovypost.com/howto/find-windows-product-key-after-upgrading-windows-10/

Create a recovery drive
Delete everything on the PC

Use the recovery drive to reinstall Windows

If it asks give it the keys from ShowKeyPlus

Brilliant, thank you. I'll look at both options 😊
