Until recently I would browse kindle books on my Mac then order them to be delivered straight to my kindle.
My Mac is now broken so using an old iPad.
I can still browse but not order and deliver them for some reason.

Searching on the kindle is very time consuming, if there's a way round it I'd love to know?

Are you using the app? It should work fine through safari

WherestheDog · 17/04/2019 21:03

Yes, the Amazon app on safari

Is it the amazon website or the amazon app?

haggisaggis · 17/04/2019 21:16

I have never used the app but usually just go to the Amazon website on my IPad and order books to be sent to my kindle from there. I just tried installing the app and agree it doesn’t work.

Accountant222 · 17/04/2019 21:17

You need to access Amazon through safari, then it works

haggisaggis · 17/04/2019 21:18

Just googled and the reason you can’t use the Amazon app to buy Kindle books is because Apple takes a percentage of the app cost and Amazon don’t want that!

ChoudeBruxelles · 17/04/2019 21:20

You need to go to the website not the app. You can only browse not order through the app

WherestheDog · 17/04/2019 21:34

Well, a massive thank you from me. Thanks
I've logged in, not in the app, and ordered loads of books.
This is why I love Mumsnet.

Thank you. I didn’t know this. I have the kindle app on my iPad and couldn’t figure out how to do this.
