How do I get rid of a www address on my toolbar memory thingy up at the top?

You know what I mean don't you?

I want to get rid of a www address that appears when I click on the arrow

Cos the website keeps giving me a virus when I click on the homepage

clear your history, cached pages and your cookies. That should blitz it.

I have cleared my google history fromt eh search box thingy on the left

If you are using Windows XP (as I am) then go to

"Settings" (should be on your start menu)
"Control Panel"
"Internet Options"
"General" tab
Clear history etc using buttons shown.
