I would like some recommendations for a laptop for dc for school. They can use school ones but they have to keep going back to learning support and they have mobility issues.

Requirements are it must be able to have office (have licences), possibly dragon dictate. Be fairly light but robust. Not too expensive. Good battery life.

They currently use open office but find it more restrictive. Plus I would borrow it occasionally to do work presentations on PowerPoint.

No recommendation, just wanted to highlight something. We bought DS a laptop for school as his handwriting was so bad but in the shop, with all the general hubbub going on, we didn't notice it had really 'clicky' keys.

He hated using it in class when his classmates were quietly working away and he was tap tap tapping in the background.

Thanks for the tip waltzingparrot keys will need to be fairly easy to use as they are frequently injured.

Libreoffice is better than OpenOffice

I need it to use Microsoft office as that is the platform which my work uses. I can install it on up to five machines and I need access to a spare machine for times when mine fails or to take with me when going somewhere else.
