My husband had a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge. He downloaded all his photos onto a laptop and then factory reset and gave the phone to his sister who lives abroad.
He forgot there were some really important photos on the privacy settings. I think it’s a setting that you can put as hidden and it hides it from your normal photo gallery. These photos were various stages of my pregnancy. I’m so sad to think they are now lost. Anyone have any clue if they can be recovered as presuming they have been wiped from the phone on the factory reset. I have no idea even how to recover the hidden photos only or even if it’s possible even with the added complication the phone is not even in this country anymore. I’m just so sad to think they are lost forever I thought it be worth an ask.
