Sky+ record technical fault? Any ideas on fixing it before shouting at them?

I've just gone to watch last nights CSI and my box is telling me that Sky+ playback and record functions are having technical faults.
I've looked on the interactive sites and the Sky.com. It's even wiped my hard drive, loosing some programmes that I was going to keep.
My system test says everything is working and I can still watch normally but I love my Sky+ and don't want to loose it!

The turn off is always the first thing I do.
Still says technical fault.
I may have to shout at them. Thank god it's only 6 months old. If they try to charge me, I may hurt someone.

Well, Got it sorted this morning as their system was down last night but it's a common fault apparently.
I just had to do a full system restart. Took all of 10 minutes.
Easy to do but can only be done once a month.
Didn't need to shout at them. Shame

Oh and all my recorded programmes are still there. That shocked the bloke on the other end!
