how do i get videos from camera to computer?

i can download the photos but not the video clips-help!btw-im rubbish at technology so please speak slowly

My dp says it depends what camera it is, as it can be done a number of different ways.

He said sometimes you have a firewire cable which you plug into the PC and depending on what kind of camera it is you may need to have some kind of video capture program on the PC.

Sorry we couldn't be of more help, don't you have the instruction leaflet any more?

If you pc is reasonably new it may have Windows Movie Maker (mine is 2 years old & has it)
Look in the list of programs & if you have it, you can capture the video & edit it if necessary.
