ARGGGHHHHHHH this is so frustrating!
Bought a laptop last month to go with the pc we have upstairs and we bought a Netgear wireless thingy to make it all work. My brother fixed it all up for us as we are relative dullards and he is a techy but he has gone abroad now and dh is even duller than me (technically speaking!)
THe laptop seems ok but the pc is having real problems loading pages from the internet. Some pages it can't load at all and some sites it will load a bit but not all of a page and then thinks it's finished. e.g. Would load the mumsnet home page and I could access different threads using the links on the home page but it wouldn't load active convos apart from the very top bar.
Couldn't load my emails on Orange either. Anyone have any idea what I can check before I ring the ISP who are CRAP by the way (Orange/Wanadoo) and really wind me up.
