Increased storage but 'Storage full'

I've paid to increase my iPhone storage to 200GB and I'm still getting pop ups stating that my storage is full.

Have you checked what is using all your storage

I used to get this all the time, check your message settings. Mine was keeping every message ever sent which meant a lot of photos that I'd sent to my parents, I've changed settings so it only keeps the last year and it's made a massive difference to my storage.
Also delete any apps that you don't use and check WhatsApp or anything like that isn't keeping everything too.

The storage you paid for is cloud storage, I suspect your message refers to local memory. As a first move turn of the iphone and restart it.
