error message when trying to install iTunes

aaaaaggghh

have got as far as trying to install vbscript on computer as iTunes message said it wasn't installed.

so - have to click run then install

regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\vbscript.dll

but i get another error message saying to correct it in Set Associations control panel, which I can't find, even with a search....

am i being dim?
