Moving contacts & photos over from iPhone 7 to Samsung Galaxy

I’ve bought a second hand Samsung Galaxy S8 & have managed to transfer apps across. But none of my contacts or notes appear to be on my Sim. I’ve tried to move them but I can’t find the option to do so. Also: I have thousands of photos on my iphone which I can’t get onto my laptop.... no space 😩. What are my options? TYIA

Your google account. Save contacts and photos to google (contacts and photos apps)

I used the Samsung Switch app.. it was preloaded on my phone.

For your photos and videos, there's an app called send anywhere. For your contacts, can you save your contacts onto your sim?
