Just as title says. Feeling paranoid as ex has hinted that he has.

What do you mean by hacked?

What has he said that makes you think he has had access to it?

Do you think he has guessed your password and logged in via another device?

You can only have WhatsApp on one device at a time do you'd know if he had moved it.

Thanks for reply Scrumptious.

When I say hacked I mean could he have somehow accessed it remotely?. I'm not very tech-savvy at all.

He hinted that he had access to conversations between me and my best friend and could have implications for our ongoing divorce.

It could be bullshit of course.

He has no access to my phone, we live separately now but he does know the kind of passwords I use. They're all quite similar.

He could have downloaded the desktop app. But doesn't work unless your using WhatsApp.

My ex managed to get into my WhatsApp and send new GF screenshots taken from my WhatsApp. Definitely the ex as had their mobile number on the Screen Shots of messages we exchanged during the Divorce.

Went into contacts and removed them. Changed SIM too. Seems to have worked so far.

Can't work out what Ex thought they were trying to achieve. New GF has changed her SIM too.

Do you back your WhatsApp conversations to iCloud? Maybe he’s accessing them via that way.

Just noticed this is an old thread Confused

To Superstar DJ

IT people where I work advised that WhatsApp can easily be accessed if someone knows the number or any of the previous numbers. Advised to uninstall and reload App with a new SIM. However, only time will tell if it works.
