Date of creation of a word document later converted to a PDF

I have a PDF of a local authority public strategy document, I can see the date of the creation of the PDF via a simple click into "properties", however, I need to know the date of its original word document creation and modifications-is there a way to extract this data/metadata from a PDF without forensic software?

Just Google pdf metadata viewer and pick the one you like

ctd I tried that, I don't understand any of the results. Too techy for me. I have given up now and not sure that exposing a "lie" about the date of a decision will change the outcome.

A local authority document like this sounds will be most often created from a template so the date could be quite arbitrary. As could the author.

If you right click on the PDF and choose Document Properties it tells you it was a Word document, but the date shown there is the date the PDF was created. (I've just done this for you to find out what happens.)
