I'm sorry if this is a numpty question, but I understand there are different formats?

So

if I go with, say, napster, will the resulting file work on my mp3?

and can i play it also on my computer?

I don't know a lot about this, but I know my Dad has the sony one, and he needed specific software that came with it. What do you have? Bumping anyway!

Dp says yes to Napster. He says the problem is with iTunes which only allows you to download files with digital rights management software on it a lot of the time so you can't use it on both, only the pc (I am just typing this I don't understand what it means).

He says just make sure you download an MP3 file rather than, say an AAC file or a WMA file.

He says try E Music as well.

Limewire. I think it's legal but it's also free.
