Why does AOL kick me out at midnight?

Ok, I know I really should be going to bed at this time, and it's like my computer is trying to tell me something, but come 0.00 on the computer clock, the whole thing stops working and I have to log back on. Do I have to change one of the settings???

A few years ago I was on a package with AOL where it was free from something like 6pm-midnight and it would cut out at midnight automatically.
Not sure if they still do that package though, wonder if they do maybe I should switch back to it then maybe I'd go to bed at a decent time instead if sitting here half the night when I should be sleeping, lol

MarsLady · 25/03/2007 00:12

You beat me to it Aitch!

PeachesMcLean · 25/03/2007 00:15

Ha ha, well we're on damned expensive broadband so we shouldn't be on any sort of restriction, but it is like some sort of signal to me. Peaches, go to bed.... it's like the voice of my conscience....

Guess there's no point in replying to this thread now, since its 12.15

ceolas · 25/03/2007 00:18

Because it's an Ungodly Hour and you should be in bed.

We all should.

PeachesMcLean · 25/03/2007 00:20

None of you are real... you're just symbols on my computer screen..... I can't hear the voices, I can't hear the voices....

Especially as its really 1.20 and not 12.20! Have you got a parental block on maybe, that only allows a certain length of time online?

PeachesMcLean · 25/03/2007 00:25

PMSL Marslady. Still laughing at that.

This happens a lot if you use AOhelL and a router particularly a wireless one.
I remember reading of a fix on the AOL Help message boards actually on AOL but I can't remember what the fix was sorry. I left AOhelL as soon as I could

Peaches... if you think my answer was bad... my sister said.... Maybe she just ain't good enough!

Read into that what you will. lol
