Can I use amazon echo as an intercomm?

Hello

If I get an echo and a dot, can I use them as an intercomm? So if i have one in my kitchen and one in my daughter's room, will I be able to talk to her without having to yell?

Or will I have to wait until the echo show comes out in the UK?
