Mmmm let me refine the question!!

In the style of mumsnet i.e. people chatting etc rather than a company site like TESCO, Yahoo etc.

Thanks again

well I think the two biggest uk sites are the guardian site and the bbc. both of which have chat sections.

But no-one can give you the definitive answer because no-one has access to the server logs for all UK sites. Alexa makes guesses based on people who use the alexa toolbar (=several teenagers and lots of Koreans)

Putting my question another way!!

If you wanted to reach a large professional audience by advertising on the web but had limited funds which sites would get a lot of views??

Mumsnet is a great place to advertise I would think because of the large amount of traffic/hits each day.

Does anyone know of any other very popular websites???

I would use the google adverts thing, as it selects where to advertise for you based on the search terms on the page.

lurkylou · 14/03/2007 10:55

Thanks for that.

What sites are people in the UK looking at most these days??? Any idea??

it depends what you want to advertise. google adwords can be good, but depending on the sector it can be expensive.

when you say funds are limited - how limited?

recoveringmum · 14/03/2007 19:02

in the parent department?

recoveringmum · 14/03/2007 19:03

do you mind if i ask what do you want to advertise? maybe ill have some creative ideas for you

lurkylou · 15/03/2007 07:48

it could be a combination of foreign real estate, construction, property care/management and villa letting???

Still very much at the planning stage!!!

Any suggestions welcome!!
