my husband and i are the only ones with keys to our car... and the keys just have locks for door... sometime back we noticed all my car windows down to same level while car is locked and keys with us... how is this possible... is there a gadget that pol can by to access locked car windows even if they dont have keys. we never saw window go down and as were in garden didnt see anyone unlock door and bring windows down. anyone know how this is possible

Most likely you did it and forgot.

How is it possible without a key in the ignition anyway?

If you hold down the lock button on the fob for one of our cars, the windows go up (handy if you've accidentally left them open). Does your car maybe have something like but that in reverse?

I've had a BMW and now a golf where you can open the windows with the fob. I did it accidentally the first time when carrying some shopping and obviously it pissed down so the seats got soaked.

phrw sorry false alarm it was my huuby's key... he was working in porch... he googled it and it was indeed his car keys held down long nuff... omg i got scare of my life thinking someone was playing a sick joke on us

Our car has something that you can do with the fob to make the windows all open, I presume to open them to cool the car down before you get in maybe??

It's either press and hold or quick double press or something. Its a PITA because if it happens I have to open the car and close the windows individually as I'm yet to work out how to shut them all remotely!

My guess is that you activated the open feature without realising as you were walking away from the car.

I did this once with my new car..... I only realized in the morning and it had rained. Luckily it's wasn't heavy rain. 😳😳
