i-pod stuff again I'm afraid..

have the i-pod manual. Been through it, but it doesn't cover how one "names" songs that have been imported from a cd, but haven't been titled from the Gracenotes database when online. Have played around with it a couple of times but no joy. Is there a way? (at mo it just lists it as "Track 1" etc. ( have 20 Motown tracks in this way)

also, followed guidance on how to delete songs from 'library' but with no joy.

name them in your itunes library

got the deleting thing..

still "naming" is a prob......

You just click twice (NOT double click, click once then again) on the name in your library and when it highlights the name, just type in what you want.

Or you can go to File, Get Info and type in the name there. If you select the whole album, then do the File Get Info thing, you can enter the album name and artist.

The File thing is working!!
