sending blue movies via email to my mum

Only joking.. just wanted to attract some interest.

My digital camera takes good movies which are normally then played by quick time. I want to share them with my mum in the uk but they are huge files to send, even if the movies are less than a minute long. Anybody with any bright ideas as to how to compress the files or similar please?????
I do have a webcam but it is less flexible than the camera and she wants to see her grandkids?

Can you zip it? Right-click on the file name, send to compressed folder (in XP).

I have triedto compress them to zipfiles and have just sent one clerkkent but it still took ages to send and I wonder if it will be too big for them to recieve.

You could try sending them via yousendit or Skype. Skype seems to send files quite quickly, then you can use it for webcam and text chats too.

Zip is good for breaking files up, but it doesn't compress video all that well.
