Computer to Phone Help Please!

I am having trouble getting music from my computer to my phone... I have it all linked up, and the software is there but I can't seem to get it transferred - can anyone help please?

Quootiepie, I know nothing about this, but I think you're going to want to say what sort of phone and what sort of computer? Also, can you get up the software? What happens?

oh right, yes It is a motorola Krzr K1, A dell PC and the software loads the pre loaded songs, but nothing on my playlists. I will go and check the box it gives when I try...

Ok, it is hard to explain but I click to open the music folder, click the song etc. then it doesn't open anymore so it can't be played. The symbol is a folder rather than the music symbol of the sample tracks, so something is wrong... I am so useless at all this
