Getting a tune off my ipod on to my phone to use as a ring tone - help and Old Gimmer please

DH did this the ohter day - I think he actually either saved tune from itunes onto memory card and then put card into phone, or sent tune via bluetooth from itunes to phone.

oh, I don'th have bluetooth, whatever that is. This is my first mobile phone ever

what phone do you have?

Ummmmmmm.....Nokia 2610 Black

you have to make sure the tune is an MP3 file via Itunes. (which is actually quite a hassle according to DH - you have to put it on a disc and reimport it as Itunes actually saves files as MP4s)
then put it onto the phone - did you get a cable and/or some sort of computer disk with it?
then I think you can select the MP3 file as your ringtone

or you could just fine the tune online and buy it as a ringtone....

Ahhhh..tune is unreleased.
