I have a tshirt that reads
"Jesus Saves, Buddha does incremental backups" does that make me a ;geek?

Pann · 11/02/2007 10:44

"Jesus Saves But Larson nets the rebound."

not geeky at all.

Chandra · 11/02/2007 10:45

I'm no longer one... and I miss it badly!!!!

Blackduck · 11/02/2007 10:48

Chandra - I'd like to miss it personally beginning to hate it.......

dp's tshirt reads "There a 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't" Most of our friends don't...

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 10:49

Oopsy.

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 10:51

snigger at blackduck

Blackduck · 11/02/2007 10:53

WT - I hope that was an understanding sympathetic snigger.....

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 10:58

Yes it was a rip roaring i get the binary joke larf.

I feel we geeks don't roar out loud, just do a sort of snorty honking noise to convey our amusement.

Chandra · 11/02/2007 10:59

Oh no, but I always was a discrete geek, actually... I hate T-shirts! And would kill Dh if he starts wearing those plastic things in his shirt's pocket! (we have to keep undergroud IYWIM , although considering our past as university lecturers that's highly unlikely!)

Blackduck · 11/02/2007 11:02

I only wear mine to bed...dp asked for his....(he's not really a tshirt person either so was an odd request.....I was going to buy him 'No I'm not going to fix you bl**dy PC'.....)

TinyGang · 11/02/2007 11:04

Waving atcha MT and celebrating geekiness in all it's forms.

BBC4 fan here which makes me geek supreme in this house!

I also worship the high priests of geek - Louis Theroux and John Hegley

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 11:12

i LOVE john hegley!

No oneI know has ever heard of him!

I have lost my glasses

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 11:15

[geek emoticon]

Chandra · 11/02/2007 11:29

PMSL! that emoticon is fantastic!

TinyGang · 11/02/2007 11:29

Ooh yess John is fab.

There are a few fans on here who like him I think. I was waffling on about him on here the other day and a few admirers emerged

He pops up on R4 now and then. R4 can be wonderfully geeky too. I'm so geeky I chuckle along to Gardners Question Time and I don't even like gardening!

marthamoo · 11/02/2007 11:33

I'm not a geek. But I'm married to one.

Chandra · 11/02/2007 11:34

You are welcome, these things rubb on each other..

WanderingTrolley · 11/02/2007 11:35

People marry geeks?!!

snowleopard · 11/02/2007 11:37

I posted on MN about my new MacBook, to deafening silence. Where were the geeks then, eh?
