On the PC, press the 'Prt Scr' (or 'print screen') button on your keyboard. This copies the screen to the clipboardwhich you can open with graphics package such as PhotoShop or PhotoPaint, to copy the image from the clipboard to the application:

On the Mac, command-shift-3 to grab the screen followed by command-shift-4, then drag your cursor to select the area you want in the picture. The picture is saved as an image file.

Hey what's with Mac questions in a geek forum?? Macs are supposed to be the most intuitive piece of stuff you'll ever use.. ...hardly geeky (although the 'new' backend is geeky at least...)

Macs - the only computer you can use wearing an oven glove.. ...or mittens...

I agree Handy - nothing geeky about Macs! Been using them since 1986, that shows my age lol!
