Our brand new hotpoint aquarius fell into the the "in danger of catching fire" bracket of machines that required a mod.
This mod was finally done last month and ever since a pool of water has collected underneath it.
It seems to be coming from the condenser filter but the seal looks to be fine.
The engineer that did the mod said that it was probably just a bit of lint caught somewhere and would most likely clear itself.
Anyone else had any issues after the mod has been done?

Is the condenser filter clicked properly into place? I ask this cos my MIL cleared mine out and put it back without her glasses on. She didn't do up the clips, and that resulted in a pool of water.

Thanks, yeah that was the 1st thing I checked but all seems ok even the seal. Thing is I'm unsure what the mod entailed. The invoice said condenser mod so I very suspicious about the whole thing. Ok so I won't be having a fire but might be having a flood
