Best tablet for my Mum

She's never had a tablet or smart phone before, so I just need something reasonable price and not too complicated. She's mainly going to browse, use facebook, and check emails.

Any recommendations?

Small chromebook, no need to get anti-virus, simple to use for browsing, facebook already set up, 100GB of Googledrive.

Whatever you use, so you can support her, and when you find some new lifechanging thing, you can get her to use it too.

But a small Chromebook does have much to commend it. Or, if you have more money, a Surface.
