All in one printer - which one?

I need to purchase a new all in one printer as my HP one has died. I use the printer mainly for printing letters and some scanning. Need to have print/copy/scan function. Would be nice to be able to print decent photos too.

Looking at a Canon or HP. Was thinking of HP 5546 as it seems to get good reviews.

Recommendations would be welcome on brands and specific models. Thanks!

Try and compare running costs for inks and paper. Photo quality will need GOOD quality paper.

We favour Canon - thirty years ago our BJC600 cost £600! Now better quality comes at a tenth of the price; such is the penalty for being an 'early adopter'.

I'm extremely happy with my Canon MG7751. Very easy to set up, use and has a clear and easy to use screen.
