I have just got an Airport Time Capsule as a backup device for my Mac (and ideally other devices too if I work it all out).
I have connected it by an Ethernet cable to my existing modem/router (which is Sky). I am now backing up (slowly) via Time Machine.
Do I have to leave it plugged in to the router via Ethernet forever now? Seems a bit awkward? If I decide to leave Sky, can I use the capsule as a modem/router? I am confused!
