can I transfer music from ipad to a usb stick?

But now my laptop is bust I have itunes on my iPad, is there a way to move music onto a usb stick from the iPad? Or will I have to beg/borrow someone else's laptop?

And once the music is on there, I'm assuming he can upload the songs straight to his own itunes account, right?

God, I miss the days of actual real mix tapes... This is too complicated!

Actually I don't think that will work- what I want to do is transfer music from the iPad directly onto the usb memory stick. Is there a cable/adapter for that?

You'll have to go via a computer and the iTunes folder.

I'm afraid what you can't do what you're trying to do... Officially.

You can only transfer music from iTunes to an iPad and not the other way around.

Do you have a PC or Mac? There is software available to help you but officially, it can't be done.
