My iPad no longer knows my login details for websites

My iPad used to automatically know my username/password for websites I regularly use, so I didn't have to log in.....but now no longer does this, even when I tick the box to remember my details.
This is the case on all websites, Mumsnet included, so every time I want to post or check threads I'm on, I have to login, which is very tedious.

If anyone has experienced this and found a solution or has any ideas, I'd be so grateful. Thanks.

I have this on my iPhone. The auto fill doesn't seem to work. It's very annoying. Sorry I can't help. I hope someone else can!

Have you checked the auto fill settings haven't been disabled?
Go to settings, Safari, auto fill and saved passwords.

Thanks. I have been into the autofill section. Should I click on each address on the list and tick the box - I have done that, but there then seems no way to save what I have done.
Any thoughts? Thanks so much.
