I'm trying to apply for a job. The application form is a pdf which you have to fill in, save, then upload onto their site. However, when I come to try and fill the form in on Adobe, I get 'Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form.' I am able to type in the spaces left blank, but when I save it - unsurprisingly - there's nothing there.

Is there anything I can do about this? Any help is extremely gratefully received!

Do you have office 2013? Convert it to word doc, fill in, convert back.

( Loathe PDF / adobe.)

I do, but when I open it in word (pages), it's all messed up - the text is all over the place and the answer boxes from the original pdf are dotted randomly about. I think I've figured out a way to do it - going to print the pdf, then choosing Save as PDF, then editing the new copy. It seems to be working so far... (not entirely convinced this isn't some part of the test!)

I would use a different PDF editor.
