Forgotten password can't open laptop!!! Help please

Windows 7 laptop. Dd is sick and has cognitive impairment. I'm trying to open her laptop so she can use it to watch Netflix. But we don't know her password! She has no idea ( no memory) and I cannot guess.

Tried to google it and found various how to videos and such but they do not work!!!! The laptop didn't have any software with it ( except bloody windows 7) and we downloaded office etc from my account with Microsoft which gives me 5 downloads for different computers ( so DH has one I have one DS and DD too).

So any ideas? We are rural, I cannot get out of the house ( cannot leave sick daughter - she's permanently I'll and bed bound) and I don't know of anyone local who repairs/ sorts out computers

If you have a USB stick, you could give this a try.

Otherwise you'll need to wipe the computer and do a full install of Windows 7 again, but you'd lose everything saved on the computer. I'm guessing you'd prefer not to do that, so the above method is worth attempting!

Thanks onebreath but we don't have any other windows 7 laptops. Mine is windows 8 and DH has a Mac and DS is away at university. Damn!

Any other ideas?
