Quick, I'm going shopping now! Suggestions for video game for 8th birthday?

DS is absolutely passionate about his video games, it really is his Thing at the moment. He's done Terraria to death and is currently back on Minecraft. He's completed Skylanders and another relative has bought him a starter kit for the new Disney game, Infinity, I think it's called.

What he really wants for his birthday is a game called Destiny, but it's a 16 so no chance.

Any thoughts on what might be a good alternative?

I don know about alternative but blur is an awesome game. It's the one game I will play for ages with my 8 yr old. Car racing with a twist, it's great fun.

The Lego games are mostly pretty good quality, and very funny. Almost any of them would be fine.

Oh he's having Blur as one of the games at his birthday party, glad it's good! I'll get him that so he can get a little practice in.

He's done Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones I think. I'll see what else there is.
