*Boring thread alert* need printer recommendations

I need a new printer as my 1 year old £££ Lexmark is crap so if you like yours please tell me why and what make and model it is!

• Ink needs to be cheapish
• Occasional photo printing
• Compatible with iMac

Should I consider anything else?

Please, I beg you...does NOBODY have a printer that they like?! desperate face

If you don't need colour I'd recommend a home laser printer - the toner is much cheaper, I went for oinwe with one thatpri TS oin both sides (duplexing). If I needed colour I'd go for a colour laser: I'll never get another inkjet as they are expensive to run and don't last long.
