Amazon fire tv stick. Not impressed!

Just got my Amazon fire tv stick.

Might even send it back unless they change one crucial thing....

Ive put a PIN on it to prevent accidental purchases ( which as it displays ALL the options - free on prime , buy series in HD etc) would be easy to do.

Great..... But you have to put the PIn to play the stuff that's free on prime - Argh!

Have you tried going into Amazon account and changing the movie Ratings part?

Don't have the stick, I use the iPad app and to stop that requesting pin each time I solved it by changing the Rating to 15, so it only prompted for pin code for movies which were 15 rated or above.

Looks like FireTV has it's own settings.

From what it says there, once pin is set you should then be able to change it so that it is required for Purchases Only.
