If you are about to replace/have replaced your Kodak printer, what are you replacing with?

They don't make Kodak printers any more, and eventually our printer will either stop working or they will stop making the ink for it so I need to be thinking about a replacement now. Any recommendations? We use it at home, but H often works from home and so the usage is a bit higher than average home usage. I hate having to constantly change the ink (and H insists that he should buy the ink because he does most of the printing so he buys it through his company, except he DOESN'T so we generally have a week without the ability to print every time we run out).

I considered the Epsom EcoTank, but it got so-so reviews for some of it's functions, and it's wifi only with no cable, which would be a bit of a gamble for us considering we never got the Kodak wifi to work in the nearly five years that we've had it. I'm thinking about a Canon Pixma MG5650, which has good reviews and sharp scanning, copying and printing (I hate a fuzzy scan), but it's suspiciously cheap so I'm wondering if it would fall apart after a year or so.

TIA
