Anyone know about Hue Animation? DS made four v short film and used ENTIRE memory of hard drive!

He'd made 5 short stop animation films (max 10 seconds long)

However I just checked the memory on the hard drive (newly installed) and it was just about full

I've deleted all but one now but what might have gone on? These short film used over 470GB of memory!!

He'd like to make more but I'm not really sure especially as the ridiculous amount of memory used!

No idea but it should use compression when exporting the final video. Hue - Export final video

Using GB's of disk space seems extreme. I would imagine that the raw video (so before compression) would take up many MB's. I think it stores the raw project file in the My Documents folder (on Windows) so look there to see if you can see the file size of his projects.

Sorry but that is all I can find using Google but it may be a start to working out what is going on.

Had a look on Google also, nothing of note. I'm going to have to look into compression. I'm not a technophobe but I'm certainly not knowledgable!
