A Virgin mobile, landline and media customer for countless years, these last few have been hell. Am i alone in this?

The broadband drops out frequently, no answers
The customer service is unintelligible, i don't understand them, they don't understand me.
If you are lucky enough to reach an english speaking customer service the relief is palpable. The rest is circles.
I don't think its fair on either customers or those put in positions of trying to resolve these queries, it seems, without the resources to resolve.
Virgin Mobile are the worst of all.
I don't know about the rest of Virgin, but if this is anything to go by i won't go anywhere near any other Virgin branding. I have lost count of the lies I've been told, and regularly just sitting in extremely lengthy queues.
If anyone out there reading this is considering using them and hasn't before, just don't!

Before I jump out of all the services, are they all the same? Its a massive upheaval to move everything. I hate having to ring them, its becoming a real 'thing' now!! I know others that hate ringing Virgin.

If I'm going, is anyone else coming with me !!!??? Help me save my sanity!

I've nothing but super service from Virgin. My broadband is incredibly fast. What's not to like about the TiVo? That said, I did drop to the minimum TV package because I realised all we ever watched on it was YouTube and Netflix.

I have an amazon fire stick upstairs and it is great. Really impressed and I paid only £19.

i don't know.. someone literally 'hates' Tivo.. i asked why, but no further details given.. would be good to hear you two debate that point here!

I hate the tivo box I have, it's very slow and clunky compared to sky plus I used to have. I have had quite a few internet outages, although no complaints on the customer service side of virgin, have always got through to someone quite quickly, who was helpful. I hopw I can cancel in June, can't remember how long the contract was for :/

i do work for them. with a land line u get free weekend calls. if you wish for other call plans you need to pay.

then you would be really probably very biased wouldn't you perhaps consider?

I understand your 'hate' velouria that would make sense if the Tivo is such a come down from the Skyplus.

my big bugbear about it, seems a small thing, but i rely on a lot every time the description of the billing is shown, you know the show 'review', its cut short, even mid name of the actor sometimes! and i have yet to find out how to read the rest... and yes, now i think about it the tvio box is slow to switch around channels if you try to push it too quick it actually looks like there are two of each channel sometimes.

they are overcharging again, so i too am looking to get out,and i will do it as part of my complaint to them for over-biling again. They already have a complaint upheld against them for it.

no i wouldn't say so. i also worked for sky. wouldn't say either is any better than the other. both have gd and vad points. i just wanted to make people aware of the wrong information they were getting.

that someone is getting the all in package for £9? you'd haave to take that up with them... have a look back on the thread..
