i needed to rebuild my PC, so i copied my itunes directory onto remote backup.
now i have a shiny re-working PC and itunes can see all my music on the remote storage BUT i can't get any of it onto my ipad.
How do i get it onto my ipad (ipad 4 still using ios7)
In case anyone shouts why not use icloud as my backup:
I have problems with the cloud, I am old and have serious concerns about the ownership of the data you are kindly giving them. (for example that hosting company that went bust taking everyones data with them).
And I ingested far too much of the book 1984 as a kid.
