iPhone won't connect to wifi but iPad will

Both will connect to main wifi home hub. We have a wifi extender due to long thin house. iPad will connect to extender, phone won't. Not a password issue. Also, iPhone now not connecting at my friends house when always did in the past. No change to her set up.

My phone will connect to wifi hotspots and stuff. Why would it selectively not connect like this? Thank you.

Have you tried deleting/forgetting the wifi account on your iPhone then re-adding it?

Or alternatively, try just turning it completely off then on again. Mine just wouldn't connect to my wifi for a couple of days (it had done before this) and turning the iPhone off then on again sorted it!

I had to 'forget' mine an re-add it too.

Of course, forget this network. Has worked at my home extender, will try at friends tomorrow. Doh. I should have remembered! Thank you.
