Laptop repairs - do you just have to trust the repairer doesn't snoop?

I've got all my accounts, investments, emails, photos, ..
Worried..

Mostly yes. But from the technicians point of view, I just cannot be arsed to snoop. I have access to the entire network and every bodies files. 99.999% of the time, it is completely boring and I am very busy. So I have never bothered.
