Anyone know if there is a way to permanently hide posts from a certain person on Facebook?

I don't want to unfollow them, just hide their ramblings. I've done it before ages ago, but can't remember how I did it.

Think you look at your feed. Where there post is, you click on the right and the options should come up.

To the right of their post there is a downward pointing arrow, click it and it gives you the option to unfolllow or hide all from them.

I saw the unfollow option....does that 'unfriend' them as such, or does that simply hide all their nonsense?

Yep. Unfollow won't de friend, just means you don't see their shite.

May or May not have done this to several family members.

Have just unfollowed them and they are gone - poof! just like that!

Yep i too have several "friends" i have unfollowed!!
