Hi I have a budget of around £400 and I need to get a new laptop or desktop, and a new printer. it will be used for general admin work and browsing the internet. No big downloading of films or anything.
Any advice on what's the best brand/make to go for? And spec? Thanks Smile

do you also need a new monitor?

This is good spec. Processor is faster than most other sub £500 laptops, good memory and hard drive. toshiba

I like Toshibas. Sony, levano also meant to be good.

I'd want at least 4gb of memory, probably 6gb. As fast a processor I can get and as much storage. Though you can always buy external storage at a later date if needed.

I would opt for 8 GB RAM to time proof PC a bit + windows 8
