I found a cool new 'social shopping' website, looks interesting!

On my nerdy travels I found a cool new website, it's a free social shopping community where you tell everyone what you're looking to buy and they'll help you find the best product and find it at the lowest price!

I get so sick of trawling through endless shopping websites and price comparison sites so I'm hoping those days are behind me. Well, I'll wait and see on that hehe but looks like it might be a handy tool :)

I tend to glance a HotUKdeals (.com) from time to time, even a quick search for breakfast cereals, toilet rolls, washing powder, (plus mobile phones and other gadgets, far more interesting!) come up with lots of deals which others have spotted and posted about.

I suppose if the suggestions made by others on the one you mention appeal that is a benefit, but I'd suspect some traders will idle away the odd hour looking for their own 'solution' to some people's questions (ie not necessarily the best match, nor even 'bargain' price, but a free self-promotion for their own web site, may be slipped in... though if they are clever, they will link to a few other sites to avert suspicion!)

Yea I really like HotUkDeals too, you definitely find some bargains on there!

I used BuyHandPicked properly last week, the people there were really helpful and it definitely saved me some time. With user votes/comments it's harder for spammy trader type links to work as well I think but you make a good point.
