my dh has one and cannot understand how to check the balance on his phone when he is out and about He can do it online but like today he was in London and wanted to check. Is there a number he rings on his phone please?

It won't matter what his phone is - just his network.

If you Google his network, they should have it posted on the website.

He needs to check with his provider. For EE, orange or t-mobile he'd need to sign up for a myEE account and check through that. On the ohone, it can be accessed via an app, though it needs to be set up on the web, first.

golly it all sounds very technical, with my old ancient nokia I just ring 4444 and that that. He is with voda phone, so we need to contact them? He he can do it online, but like today he was in London went to make a call and there was not enough money left but he didn`t know how he could check it.

I used to have Vodafone pay as you go and you could ring 2345 and listen to balance it type in *#1345# and that would display balance on screen. Not sure if that's still the case as it was a few yrs ago now.
