Parental Controls on Apple Mac and iPads --- Any Tips or Advice / Good kids websites

Hello,

Trying to set up parental controls as best I can on my Mac and then iPad. I have created a separate user for the kids with password and am then placing on the parental controls.

Are there any tips you could share to ensure I make it as secure as I can while still allowing them to access information.

Thx

On the ipad, I use Guided Access to not let them out of the app that is running. (settings, General, Accessibility)

I use an App called 'Child Proof' to play videos from YouTube without them seeing ads or other videos. It just plays the videos in my list and has no controls for the dcs to mess with.
