When I upload CDs onto iTunes are they stored on my computer or on itunes?

V basic knowledge of iTunes, so excuse me. When I'm uploading CDs, does it mean they're stored on itunes ie like on a Cloud, or on my laptop please? I've been uploading all day and now getting an error message regarding storage.

they store on your laptop.
open windows explorer, and you'll find a folder called 'music' and (i think) a folder inside called 'itunes'. in that will be all the cd's you have ripped and loaded into itunes.
