Tablets for 10 year olds.....suggestions please...

Ds wants to be able to Skype and play survival craft. Dd wants to read books and play tap the frog. Will one tablet do all of this or should dd get a kindle and ds something else....this sounds very pricey doesn't it?

The Kindle should/can/would do all of these things.

The Kindle fire HD is a good unit and has a good build.

I would not recommend a Kindle Fire because you are heavily tied into the Amazon world. Their apps, their books etc.

Depending on your budget I would recommend the 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 which is currently £179 if you use the codes.

It's an 8" tablet which personally I think is a much better size than 7". That extra inch makes all the difference
