Twitter has started automatically displaying pictures

Any idea why?

I can't find a way to turn it off, although someone has suggested 'Image Preview' but I can't find that in the settings.

I think it's just how twitter is going to be from now on; it's like that on my personal and work account.

It's their new style. T'is very annoying when you're on a mobile device as it takes up so much screen.

I've actually rather grown to like it since posting the original post, although agree that it's a bit more of a pain on a mobile.
