I'm interested in other peoples opinions & if you were me which phone would you buy?

I'm definitely buying an iPhone in the next month or so (I like Apple and already have a MacBook, iPod & iPad) so my mind is made up and I'm not going to change it no matter what anyone else says Smile.

VM have offered me a fab Sim only deal, 400 mins, unlimited texts & 1GB per month for £7.88 per month - but I need to buy my own iPhone. This isn't a problem as I've been saving and now have £550 put aside to buy a iPhone handset.

All iPhone models would exceed my requirements for a phone. My question really is, what would you do. Buy the cheaper 4S and save £200, buy 5C and save £100 or blow the full budget and buy the 5S? I plan to keep which ever phone I buy for minimum 2 years but hopefully more provided it's still working fine.

I would go for the 5C. Bigger screen than 4S and Apple won't stop supporting it quite so soon. Also, the 4S can't be used on the new superfast 4G LTE network. The faster processor in the 5C wouldn't be that much of a draw for me but I would like the improved battery life. I would also like the better camera.

I am happy with my 4S but if I was buying a new phone I would choose one of the 'new' models.

Generally with Apple I'd say go for the most up to date one you can if you are planning on keeping it for the full two years. The new fingerprint sensor looks interesting and the camera is much improved although most will never notice the changes. They'll just look better.

So in short with a budget like that, I'd go buy a Samsung Galaxy S4! Grin
